Digital Marketing Analyst
What is your background?
I was born in Kenya, raised in Michigan, and attended college at Boise State University in Idaho. Growing up in Michigan I wanted to be a professional basketball player. After high school I moved to Idaho and graduated from Boise State with a degree in Finance. While in college I worked as a door-to-door salesman selling Dish Network cable services across the country. After college I got into analytics, digital marketing, and producing music!
What are your responsibilities at (un)Common Logic?
My current responsibilities as a Digital Marketing Analyst include analyzing paid media accounts to draw insights and make recommendations to clients on ways to improve performance to meet account goals.
What's your favorite thing about working at (un)Common Logic?
My favorite thing about working at (un)Common Logic is the people I get to work with. Everybody is smart, driven, helpful, fun, and wants to see you succeed!
What's the most challenging aspect of your job?
The most challenging aspect of my job is being comfortable with making mistakes and not being excellent right off the bat. Having been a high achiever it’s challenging when I don’t get something right away and humbling when I think I’ve figured out what I’m doing just to find out that I still have room to learn and grow.
What makes Austin special?
What makes Austin special is all the food options available! I’m big into touring the city to find new food spots to try.

What makes me (un)Common is that I’ve lived in 2 countries: Kenya and the US. I’ve also lived in 8 states: Michigan, Idaho, Indiana, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
